Handcrafted costume from a group of doll makers in the western
village of Dora, Ukraine in the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast.
Traditional
clothing, headpieces and footwear authentic to Hutsul region in the
Carpathian
Mountains of Western Ukraine. Every piece of the costume is
hand created by the doll makers (except for the belt.) Because
each
costume is handmade, the colors and embroidery patterns will vary from
the photos shown. Inquire for current available colors. Each doll
is approximately 11-12 inches tall, 3 inches wide, and will have a
unique
serial number. Although the costumes are well made, they are
delicate
and are not intended for dress-up games or rough handling. The
doll
body is plastic and not made in Ukraine. Gift box and metal doll
stand included.
These dolls are not appropriate
